When I first looked at this picture it made me think of being carefree. Is this desirable of most women? Do women want to be free from everything, all their obligations as women? When I first looked at this picture it made me think of being carefree. Is this desirable of most women? Do women want to be free from everything, all their obligations as women? I think at one point or another, every woman wants this in their lives. Sometimes there is just this urge to be set free from all the duties we have as woman. I can relate to the wanting to be carefree! And I think your image has some kind of relation with mine. By saying that women want to be set free... not under the stress of being perfection or wanting to put so much effort into our looks as I think is expected of us. Desire can be so many things for a woman, it's such a broad subject, but I wonder if women had to choose to let go and be free in the world or stay constrained to try to be beautiful... what one would they pick? Because on the flip side of the stress of getting ready, once I am ready I feel good about myself.. It's just a pain to get their and sometimes worry about what other people are thinking!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with that. It is something that is about giving and taking. Your taking away the stress of being perfect and beautiful, but also possibly losing the feeling you get when you do look and feel pretty. I think because of how society works today, many woman are just so used to having the stress of being perfect that it has just become part of life and isn't something that they think twice about.
